Kim Ratkos Stanton is the new Accountant for AEDC. She is extremely excited to bring her 20+ years of innovative and progressive accounting to small businesses all over the Adirondacks. Kim has spent the past 7 years as chief accountant at Northwood School, where she reduced costs, managed the yearly budget, and implemented new systems. She has raised two daughters right here in the Adirondacks, who are now living in Boston and Portland as engineers. Their work in renewable energy has inspired her to find more ways to be integrated into her community and be a part of the future. Kim has been helping small business in the Adirondacks since 2005: securing credit, handling expansions, and always ensuring financial statements are accurate. In her free time, she walks her very sassy huskies, Nukka and Koda, tends to her growing garden, and hosts barbeques for her expansive network of family and friends.
