The Diversity of the Adirondack Park offers vistas unimaginable in other parts of the country. From the thousands of acres of horse and hiking trails at Otter Creek to the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, the Adirondack Park Region is a definite destination for the scenic outdoor lover.

All Aboard
Whether aboard the beautiful Horicon for a Historic Sightseeing Cruise or on the new Adirondac for a Fireworks Dinner Cruise, you will see why Lake George is truly the "Queen of American" lakes!

Adirondack Scenic Railroad
Our Adirondack High Peaks Wilderness Train adventure is a 20 mile round trip from Lake Placid Station to Saranac Lake Union Depot. You can depart from either station. Be sure to take the time to walk through the village of Saranac Lake or the famous Lake Placid before heading back. You can spend the day or just a few hours - 45 minutes each way with a 45 minute layover.

The Wild Center
The New York Times called it "stunning". The Wild Center, built in the heart of New York's six-million acre Adirondack Park, is a major new museum that mixes the indoors and outdoors, live and digital, in unusual ways.
