CLASSROOM TRAINING

Since 1991, Adirondack Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) has been a leading provider of business training for Adirondack region residents. Consider the following:

• Over 370 people have attended our training institutes
• We have assisted over 100 new business startups
• Over 220 full-time jobs have been created by our clients
• Over 120 part-time jobs have been created by our clients

Entrepreneurial Assistance Center
AEDC is a certified Entrepreneurial Assistance Center. With enabling financial support from New York State's Empire State Development Corporation, AEDC delivers 60 hours of classroom training covering a wide range of business topics (See Course Outline). This Entrepreneurial Assistance Program (EAP) brings together entrepreneurs and regional professionals in a small class setting. Participants are led through a process of developing a business plan. Participants also receive on-going assistance from AEDC business counselors to ease the transition to self-employment, providing the very best opportunity for business success.

Additional Training
AEDC regularly delivers full-day and half-day seminars on a wide variety of business related topics. These seminars are delivered throughout the Adirondack Park.
