CLASSROOM TRAINING

Since 1991, Adirondack Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) has been a leading provider of business training for Adirondack region residents. Consider the following:

Over 370 people have attended our training institutes
We have assisted over 100 new business startups
Over 220 full-time jobs have been created by our clients
Over 120 part-time jobs have been created by our clients

Entrepreneurial Assistance Center
AEDC is a certified Entrepreneurial Assistance Center. With enabling financial support from New York State's Empire State Development Corporation, AEDC delivers 60 hours of classroom training covering a wide range of business topics (See Course Outline). This Entrepreneurial Assistance Program (EAP) brings together entrepreneurs and regional professionals in a small class setting. Participants are led through a process of developing a business plan. Participants also receive on-going assistance from AEDC business counselors to ease the transition to self-employment, providing the very best opportunity for business success.

Additional Training
AEDC regularly delivers full-day and half-day seminars on a wide variety of business related topics. These seminars are delivered throughout the Adirondack Park. Please contact us by phone or email for current scheduled offerings. We also would like your input on business topics of interest to you.
